When the Necrology page was first created I had intended to add the names, regiments, and burial sites in a random manner, much like they would appear in a cemetery. This worked in a fashion, but seemed to get out of hand after a time.
Daniel Crone has used the information from our Necrology page, along with much more material that he has gathered from the internet and other sources to create a much improved listing of the soldiers that fought with the five regiments that made up the Georgia Brigade led by Generals Seth Barton and Marcellus A. Stovall.
Daniel’s website, GRAVESITES OF THE GEORGIA BRIGADE, is a wonderful database for researching the burial sites of the soldiers of the brigade.
